The mornings and evenings are finally cooling off and it’s almost sweater weather! Sleeveless sweaters are the perfect transition-to-fall piece that will keep you cool and still let you wear fall fashion – especially when it warms up mid-day.

This outfit is so easy to put together, comfortable and super cute! These black pants are definitely my fall staple – just enough distressing to add some style, but not too much that you’ll have to worry about the holes getting bigger and bigger with washing. I wore them in my last fall outfit – check it out here!
I love fringe booties for an extra flare to your outfit – this outfit is all solids so the fringe gives it some extra texture! Booties are a fall staple you need in your wardrobe, no question. These specific ones are from a local AZ boutique (Junky Trunk Boutique), but I’ve linked a really similar pair that is available at DSW and on sale for $40 (at the time of this post)!
This Vince Camuto sweater is so simple but so cute! I love the turtleneck style – it just gives it an extra sophisticated flare. It’s not super thick as it has a looser stitch so you could definitely get away with wearing it even when the mid-day temperatures haven’t cooled off yet. This sweater also comes in petite sizes – I am wearing an XS petite for reference, making it the perfect length for us shorter gals (I am 5’2″)!
If this sweater sells out in your size, I’ve picked out some other affordable sleeveless sweaters that are just as cute!
Some other options for sleeveless sweaters:
If you’ve read my other outfit posts, you’ll know that the majority of my purses are Rebecca Minkoff. I. love. them. all. This specific one is the quilted love crossbody with gunmetal detailing. It’s such a beautiful bag and is actually quite spacious inside for being a smaller purse! It also has an outside slip pocket that is perfect for your phone and even fits my larger iPhone 7 Plus with a case on it! Here’s another one of my Rebecca Minkoff purses. Purses are one thing I will splurge on a little because they can last a long time if you’ll take care of them.

Another style tip for incorporating fall fashion into the warmer days of fall: use fall colors in your outfit, but wear summer styles like skirts and short sleeved/sleeveless tops! You’ll feel like you’re dressing for the season and getting into the fall mode, but won’t be dreading walking outside in the afternoon when it warms up!
What do you wear when it starts getting cooler in the mornings/evening but is still warm mid-day?
